A DREAM Come True
Dream was written over the course of ten years as a form of healing for the author. An LGBT+ Young Adult Fantasy novel, it deals with childhood trauma, forgiveness, love and friendship.

DREAM: A Surreal and Psychedelic Gay Romance/Fantasy Novel

From the little that he can remember, Dante Jackson hasn't had the best childhood, but the last thing he wants to do is grow up. On his eighteenth birthday, he realizes that his abusive stepmother is actually a wicked witch and he's suddenly thrust into an eerie world made of his own forgotten memories.
With his favorite childhood toys seemingly coming to life in order to help him defeat his enemy, the young hero sets out to journey through the innocence of his youth. With a little help from his long-lost friends, Mizu the mermaid doll and Theodore the teddy bear, he just may grow up a little along the way. A tale about healing and forgiveness, Dream is as surreal as it is sentimental.

Taste of the Fruit
The Exorcist's Acolyte was, yet again, a coping mechanism and a form of healing for D.C. Canipe. This time, it was his religious trauma that inspired this dark and chilling tale. A queer twist on the classic tropes of demonic possession and exorcism, this is a horror in every sense of the word.
The Exorcist's Acolyte

Young Joshua was raised within the walls of the church, but has always sensed something dark lingering in the shadows. Training to become an exorcist, he discovers that what seems to be light, may actually be the darkness he was raised to fear. With the help of his friends, he discovers horrifying secrets and terrifying truths - ones that test his faith, but strengthen his resolve.
With a dark twist on the classic horror tropes of exorcism and demonic possession, The Exorcist's Acolyte is a thrilling look at the possible horrors that America may face in the future. It isn't the fiction within this book that is chilling; it is the truth.

The Darkness Continues to Spread...
The Apostate is a short story sequel to the horror novella, The Exorcist's Acolyte. It is a more feminist, more science fiction, less horror tale featuring the continued story of Joshua and Levi. But the main character is a young girl by the name of Alexandria, who finds herself in the middle of her own war between light and darkness...

The Apostate

Alexandria is ran out of her church - the only home she has ever known. Out in the wilderness, she meets Levi and Joshua - a couple with a past similar to her own.

Followed by a dark and mysterious goddess, she learns the ways of nature and the wild. But can she save the love of her life from the clutches of darkness?

Take Off Your Mask, and Speak Your Truth
Voiceless was actually written by D.C. Canipe when he was a teenager. It was yet another way of healing from abuse during a tumultuous time in his life. Whereas DREAM was him trying to heal AFTER the fact, Voiceless was DURING the darkness, and it certainly shows that.
Voiceless

A modern gothic romance, Voiceless is the tragic love story of Simon, a mute, and Jacoby, his secret lover.

Trapped in a southern homophobic small town, they've had to hide their love. But when their parents find out, tragedy strikes. Separated, they are thrown into parallel spirals of agony, which results in Si's suicide.

Grieving the loss of the love of his life, Jake begins to have strange visions and even eerier nightmares. Is this demonic, ghostly Si that he's been seeing real? Or is he losing his mind?
